Muslin is a loosely woven, semi-transparent and fine-threaded fabric in a plain weave with a soft feel. Traditionally, muslin is made from cotton and is characterised by a delicate fluff, which is created by the slightly twisted threads. This makes muslin particularly suitable for summer temperatures.
