Jede Farbe entspricht einer Cup-Größe. HANRO führt insgesamt 8 Cup-Größen im Sortiment. Die Größe 80A hat die gleiche Cup-Größe wie 75B und 70C. Lediglich der Unterbrustumfang ändert sich dabei. Insgesamt bietet HANRO 20 BH-Größen an.
In order to tell whether a bra suits you, bra expert Frauke Nagel has some useful tips. “Take your time and keep the bra you are trying on for a few minutes. Move your arms, sit down, and stand up again. Like shoes, bras need to be broken in and will become more comfortable over time. But if it pinches or tugs right away, you should try a different size or style.”
Slip your arms through the straps and pull the front band or underwires under the bust.
Bend slightly forwards so that the breast can fall into the cups and close the back. Alternatively, you can place the bra around your waist, close it at the front and turn it carefully around your body until the cups are at the front. Then slide it upwards under the breast. The cups should be facing upwards from the start so that they do not have to be folded upwards.
When you put the bra on for the first time, first clasp it in the widest position and then, if comfortable, place it on the centre hook. Make sure that the underband is horizontal and does not ride up at the back.
Position the straps on the shoulders. If the bra is new, the straps may be set too short. It is therefore best to adjust them longer before putting it on.
Place one hand between the cup and the breast and lift the breast into the cup from the side to the front. The breast tissue should lie completely in the cup and the underwire should frame the breast. With non-wired styles, the underbust band should sit firmly under the breast without riding up.
Finally, check the length of the straps. They should fit snugly but without digging in. As a rule of thumb, you should be able to fit two fingers between your shoulder and the straps. If you notice any pressure points, the straps should be adjusted longer. Remember: The support of the cups comes mainly from the underband and the back, not from the straps.
