We rely on our own fabric production and exclusive finishing processes. Seam and hem-free processing, soft mercerisation and the very finest stitch divisions are just some of our innovations, which we are constantly developing. Unlike many of our competitors, we knit and dye the majority of our fabrics ourselves. Around 80 % of our fabrics are produced in textile production at the company's site in Vorarlberg, Austria.
We also source additional materials from local suppliers whenever possible. Our fine woven fabrics come from the Getzner company and the extraordinary embroideries from Hämmerle & Vogel, both textile companies from the Vorarlberg region.
Incidentally, fabric production is subject to strict environmental regulations. All HANRO collections are certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. Our dyeing and knitting process is STeP by OEKO-TEX® certified. STeP is the new OEKO-TEX® certification system for sustainable textile production. Our sewing factories in Portugal and Hungary are also certified.
