Sustainable collection for women by HANRO
One of the materials used is TENCEL™: these are cellulose fibers of botanical origin. These define a new standard in sustainability and natural comfort. Derived from the renewable raw material wood, the fibers are produced in an environmentally friendly manufacturing process. Wood and pulp from the Lenzing Group are sourced from natural forests and sustainably managed plantations. The fibers are biodegradable and compostable and can thus be completely returned to nature.
Another material used is Supreme Green Cotton ®. It is grown in Greece on family-run cotton farms and is therefore "Made in Europe". The certified cotton is GMO-free and needs 40% less water through modern drip irrigation.
Organic Cotton is GMO-free. No fertilisers or pesticides are used in cultivation and only half as much water is used as with conventional cotton. It promises 100 % genuineness and thus 100 % feel-good factor.
