MATERIAL GUIDE

LINEN - NATURAL & SUSTAINABLE

Linen is one of the oldest and most sustainable natural fibers in the world. Obtained from flax, it is characterized by its environmental friendliness and longevity. The best quality linen comes from Europe, while cotton hardly grows there. Linen is grown in a particularly resource-conserving way and thanks to its robust structure, it is durable and ideal for high-quality textiles.

Cooling

Has a cooling effect, is airy and comfortable to wear. Ideal for summer clothing.

Breathable

Temperature-regulating, air-permeable and breathable. Keeps the wearer feeling dry.

Moisture absorption

Linen absorbs up to 35% humidity and is therefore a particularly absorbent material.

Durable

It is extremely hard-wearing, durable and has a natural sheen.

WHY LINEN MIX?

Pure linen is naturally prone to creasing. By combining it with cupro, viscose or cotton, the fabric becomes smoother and creases less while retaining its natural benefits.

HOW TO CARE FOR LINEN PROPERLY?

Longevity is at the forefront of our collection.

  • Only wash linen items when necessary and prefer to air them.
  • Machine wash at 30-60 °C (depending on the mix) on a gentle cycle.
  • Hand wash with lukewarm water.
  • Air dry the items and use steam to reduce creases.
  • Iron inside out or slightly damp to avoid shiny spots.
  • Do not use thin wire hangers.
  • Check the care label.
