Collection Moments Day- and Nightwear
The Moments collection is one of HANRO's bestselling collections and is particularly popular. It convinces with high-quality, soft French Textronic lace and stands for feminine, timeless elegance. The cotton used has been mercerised. The advantages of mercerisation are a smoother and shinier surface of the cotton fabrics as well as increased strength. The shine remains even after washing and the colour brilliance lasts much longer and does not fade.
Daywear: The underwear comes either in full lace or has been combined with high-quality, mercerised cotton. The midi briefs have a cotton front and lace back for an "invisible" look, so they don't show and are invisible under clothes. The full lace maxi briefs and the mini briefs (with lace at the waistband) have no side seams. The tops are also without side seams and are also made from the finest mercerised premium cotton. They come with lace trim.
Nightwear: Gently draping, mercerised cotton interlock with decorative Textronic lace for a touch of transparency. The nightwear is elegant and timeless.
We rely on our own fabric production and exclusive finishing processes. The cotton is mercerised by us. This is a very expensive process that is applied to yarns, twines and fabrics. The aim of mercerising is to achieve an even smoother and shinier surface and increased strength. The process thus gives the cotton a higher tensile strength, but it also slightly loses its stretch. HANRO developed the first machine in the world for soft mercerising cotton. This special type of finishing is used to achieve the extraordinary softness and special sheen of the high-quality fabrics.
The lace used by HANRO is something very special on the market. It comes from the company called Sophie Hallette in France. Sophie Hallette has been a creator and manufacturer of lace, tulle and precious embroidered fabrics in Caudry and Calais for over a century and embodies the tradition of the applied arts. Heiress to an outstanding archive, she is a supplier to the great names of haute couture and, in recent years, to selected lingerie brands. Over the years, the family business has developed into an autonomous group with its own dyeing and punching shop.
